“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs
without fear of the future.”
Proverbs 31:25
YVONNE ROSE
Hi I’m Yvonne. I claim several identities – Mom to two wonderful adult children and a daughter-in-love, a missionary, a voice for persecuted Christians, a prayer intercessor, an author and writer. I have enjoyed full-time ministry as a Bible teacher, speaker, missionary to East Asia, Taiwan and Thailand, prayer leader, and counselor. Most of those years serving with Campus Crusade for Christ/CRU overseas and on several U.S. college campuses.
During a recent, dark and traumatic time in my life full of loss, sorrow and betrayal, I spent many days, weeks, and months seeking the Lord’s healing, restoration and purpose. I learned that He is closest to us in our darkness, sufficient for all we need, faithful to all of His promises, and is the Perfect Peace in the storm.
Restored Hope and Purpose
Like so many who have experienced loss, grief, betrayal and darkness, there is a daily choice either to become bitter, unforgiving and fearful OR to choose joy, peace, forgiveness and love. I gained a new identity – a broken yet useful vessel – it’s a process. The Lord is gradually restoring many things in my life that have become lost as I sit with Him – listening, praying and reading his Word. He is restoring joy and peace, a deeper faith in Him, confidence in who he created me to be, and hope for the future.
Suffering, losses and trials are never wasted. God uses them as stepping stones into his plans for our lives. I began to meet others, who like me, were desperately needing answers, hope, and strength to know that God longs to restore and redeem our lives. I desired to share words that the Lord was giving to me with people who, like me, were broken and needed hope and encouragement. This was the birth of “Restore Abundantly” – birthed out of Bible verses, time in prayer listening to the Lord, and encouraging words I received from others in my life.
All of us have had or will have broken pieces in our lives. Your broken pieces could be a broken relationship, death of a marriage, a health crisis, emotional or sexual abuse, a prodigal child, an addiction, an abortion, a job loss, death of a loved one, a financial setback, or a loss of everything you once owned. The possibilities are endless, but so are the redemption stories. My prayer is that our lives will always have a redemptive story of abundant restoration through Jesus.
“You have allowed me to suffer much hardship, but you will restore me to life again and lift me up from the depths of the earth.” Psalm 71:20
“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.” Romans 15:13
May Jesus restore your life as you seek Him,
Yvonne
My deepest desire in sharing Jesus’ love is for people to know and experience true freedom, purpose for living and his presence in their daily lives. He promises to restore and renew hope for living a full and meaningful life. Through the book, Wake Up! Return to God , monthly Words and my weekly Instagram “Words for Today”, I seek to encourage people to return to God or come to know him through his Son, Jesus. Returning to God means restoration; he desires to restore good in our lives for his glory.
